At Google, we take the safety of our users very seriously, and we work hard to ensure that your accounts are secure. As part of those efforts, we recently compiled some tips on our blog to help protect you from "phishing," which is an attempt to fraudulently collect passwords, credit card numbers, and other sensitive information: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/04/how-to-avoid-getting-hooked.html
This information is important because any online account can be targeted by phishers, including online advertising accounts.
There are reports of phishing attempts that falsely appear to be from adwords-noreply@google.com. These fraudulent emails ask users to update their billing information, take action on a disapproved ad, edit their account, or accept new AdWords terms and conditions. Please remember that Google's AdWords team will never send an unsolicited message asking for your password or other sensitive information by email or through a link.
If you need to change your account information, such as your billing details or your password, always sign in to your AdWords account from the main AdWords login page at https://adwords.google.com and make the changes directly within your account.

Tips on how to avoid phishing:
- Don't reply to or click on links in emails that ask for personal, financial or account information.
- Check the message headers. If you reply to a message, the From: address and address that shows in the To: field should be the same.
- Instead of clicking the links in emails, go to the websites directly by typing the web address into your browser, cut and paste or use bookmarks.
- If on a secure page, look for "https" at the beginning of the URL and the padlock icon in the browser.
- Keep your computer's antivirus, spyware, browser and security patches up to date and regularly run system scans.
- Review your accounts regularly and check for unauthorised activity.
- Use a browser that has a phishing filter (Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Opera).

If you take a short fifteen minutes to search home business opportunities

this includes a satisfying career. We spend the majority of our lives
working from the time that we are teens up past the age of retirement. Why
should we allow ourselves to spend these years in a job that makes us

Laptop computers are often the first type of computer that anxious buyers
look into. They are small and slick looking machines for the most part.
Laptop computers have all the ability and function of a full desktop on a
smaller scale. Their size limit's the amount of memory they can handle but
laptops are still very powerful machines. Today laptops can be just as
useful as desktop pc's. In today's busy society they fit into most people's
daily lifestyles perfectly for three reasons. The top two reasons that most
people use laptops are mobility and space efficiency. However, the benefits
certainly don't stop there.
Mobility
In today's fast paced technology-reliant world having a computer is pretty
much mandatory. Whether your laptop is a brand new Compaq Presario or a no
name brand chances are you carry it with you and use it constantly. The
mobility of laptops and notebooks allows for their users to have their
important files at hand as well as the means to update those files and copy
them for others to use. With the advent of wireless technology a Compaq
laptop combined with Compaq wireless makes for an unstoppable media and work
outlet.
This ease of mobility will serve for many different people, including those
that own their own business. Business people will love the appeal of being
able to work on commutes and trips. Students will have the advantage of
being able to take notes in class as well as have their personal computer
with them for weekend jaunts to the homestead. People who work at home doing
telecommuting jobs will be able to leave the house for a cup of coffee and a
change of scenery without losing any work time.
Space Efficient
Laptops are much smaller than a desktop computer. This being the case it is
perfect for the person who does not have much room or just wants a less
cluttered working area than the desktop affords. College students who live
in dorms benefit greatly from this as they have limited work space and often
need to use desk space for other purposes than schoolwork. People who live
in smaller apartments or homes can also benefit from the small size as any
space that is available can become a work space.
The small size is also a plus in shared spaces as it makes it easy to store.
It can be set on a shelf when not in use leaving space for tables and desks
to be repurposed. Also it can very easily unhooked and locked up for safe
keeping when not needed for work or play.
Although a laptop may not be ideal for everyone as they are often the right
choice for a varied group of people. From college students, to busy
professionals, to work at home moms the laptop computer can become an
invaluable asset to their everyday lives. It can certainly make your home
business easier to operate if you have a handy laptop to take everywhere you
go!

Every home business owner loves the idea of owning their own business, but
after a while it may become apparent that although their name is on the door
and they are accountable for every legal aspect of the business, they may
not be the actual owner. Whether you have accepted a business offer from an
online customer, bought into a franchise or accepted investments from

they have a say in how the business operates as they want to protect their

One mistake many new business owners make is asking for loans from relatives
to get their business up and running. While it may seem like a good idea at
the time, conversation at holiday gatherings will go in the same direction
as the business. If business is good and everyone is making some money from
their investments then holiday meals can be a happy and fun time.
Conversely, if business is not going as well as expected, turkey may not be
the only thing discussed at the family Thanksgiving meal.
